Expensive gloves
Caressing deadly
Force dance with ginger feet
A defilement that pierces bones of silent ribs
Perfecting grinding stones-- prized bottle of glass
On a shelf ---unbreakable
Never reached

What is this Fee? Fear.
Where the elixir among toxic photographs
Eats unable to escape

What would they say?
The etched tattoos whispering
Lie down, stand up, get dressed
Arrange roses coiling vines
Of unfaithful images—dying ink

Children of sweet tiny fingers stretch
The heart----the soul as blackened oil rises to
Suffocate guessing games

Will there be a killing, or the attempt
If tangled nerves slide to steal

There is no place to hide, is there?

But she will one day
If not sooner

She has to

U N B E L I E V A B L E! I can not accept only one person commented on this piece. This is indeed a powerful piece...something I myself might have drawn out of the darkness of my mind. I love it...this is what poetry is to me. A medium into which we write our most powerful musings. Bravo ATOV! Love it!
