Bleeding Hearts

I feel a pain deep inside of me,
A fire growing with each second,
From where you ripped my innocence
And through it to the ground.

While on the ground people trampled it,
Not understanding what they were doing,
Only you knew…
Only you knew what they had done.

So there on the ground my heart lay,
Bleeding without an end,
Until someone picked it up and put it back in my chest,
So that my bleeding heart would get one last chance at love.

Hey, I like this, the word betrayl definitly comes to mind when I read this. Good job.

This poem gave me like a bitter sweet end. Your love lost or gone.. People tramble on your emotions.. Intill someone comes to save you from your sorrow and brokeness..
