You came to me and you lied

You talked to me and I tried

Just like you I'm a human being

So why did you treat me in such way?

You tore my heart out and broke it into several pieces

Now I'm just left with the memories you erased

How can you sleep with a smile on your face?

The times we once had are now gone

So why has my heart belonged to you for so long?

I'd love to forget you and move on in my life

but something here, still doesn't feel right

Now whenever I see you, its so hard not to try

To not feel anything for you, and for that I cry

The rumors that were spread, finally reached me

At first I didn't believe, until after what I've seen

I realized now that you really had moved on

I really need to forget you, I want you to be gone

Go away leave me alone

Your voice still haunts me in my sleep

And when I open my eyes, your all I see

A whisper in my ear, "I'm still here"

You make me cry, sad, full of fear

I like it...it makes me want to write..thats a great poem indeed if it inspires someone to write.
