I am the dead man's vengeance
I am the rage blinded tempest
Have you seen the shadows quake
At the steps of butterflies
Oft I dreamed of late
Later still I wake
To the godless laughter of coins
Breaking my back with their silence
Wearing my bones with their toil
Yet never to dust
Yet never to dust
For I am the dead man's Vengeance
For I am rage unchecked
For the inadequacy of life
And the shrillness of day
Can never vouchsafe victory
Over the sorrows of existence
