I hear your story, see your tears
So heartbroken, miserable, so desolate
as you hand over your beloved

Stiff in repose, lifeless eyes tell the truth of another tale
The despondency of days gone by
Endless horrors no being should endure

I lay your beloved with reverence in my cold chamber
Giving them at least one touch of gentleness never known
Close the steel door with firm finality
The push of a button ignites the spark
Flames erupt, spreading over your beloved

You cry cruelty, so why come to me to do your dirty work-fire does not hide everything
Fire engulfs, burns, chars, blackens
Bones, ashes, and parts of the truth remain

Oh so finely I grind the bones, extracting the truth
Into a pretty urn the ashes go
You smile when you return, no more tears
Leaving me the nightmares of an untold truth

Thank you for your welcome and replies. This was based on a true experience-It is amazing how intricately the threads of life and death are interwoven-and there are a lot of things that can be done with Joplin playing
