Careening into the beautiful darkness
a silhouette against the moon
a human constellation in the snow
who died of loneliness.

You carried all the maps within you
round and round in the forest behind you
seeking a passage from imagination to reality
across this field of endless sunlight  -
body of brilliant sorrows.

At the gravestone of your life
look at these lovely obscene truths.
In the beginning was the End
first letter in the alphabet of midnight

This prison is actually your freedom
they marked the way with bones.
There is no guiding star.
Nothing then but to sit out the darkness
stones are the masters of time
