Though as iron
Hard as nail
My bestest friend
But still crys and wail

His emotions pour on my feet
His soul is breaking. i dont know how to mend
How do you help a broken soul?
A broken friend...

Im oh so confused and helplessly useless
My emotions wirl in one gaint blow
How do you help him??
I do not know

He's shut me out
I'll keep knocking on his door
He wont let me in
I lie in wait on the floor

What if he opens up?
Will i be able to cure
His broken heart
Once filled.. once was pure

Now it is dark
Black as night
I dont reconize him
He just wants to argue and fight

He is a stranger i do not know
Hes not my friend
Im so confused
But theres no time to help his soul. no time to mend

I can see no light,
no purity in his heart
The only heart ripping now
is mine. its apart

Your blacken soul
Has stained like ink
I use to float in emotions
but not any more, i just sink..

You've taken control
Your sins have you now
My tears are falling
I cry aloud

I wish to save you
but your not letting me in
but you can't see
i use to call you threes words... my good friend

I hope this poem helps my friend relize that he needs professional help... And that im here if he needs any support to fall on to.

I know how u feel. I know what it's like to be shut out when you only wnat to help. But slowly keep trying, and don't push to hard. Hopefully everything will work out between you two,

This is something I can relate very easily. My best friend shut me out leaving me confused and hurt. But my story comes to happy ending and things worked out. I really hope things get better for you and your friend!

I really like this poem. It sort of reminds me of myself. Except that I'm the person who keeps pushing other people away. I've kind of been doing that lately and I need to get out of the habit.

sometimes the doors are never really shut, just blocked for a short time-things will work out-
