He would watch them everyday Tell them stories, that would never fade away Go outside and run around So fast in circles til they fell to the ground He didn't ask a question why So he laughed until he cried Sitting in a room all alone Hears there voices over the phone No matter how hard he'd try Still they would laugh until they cried Days go by one by one He never thought he'd be so proud of his son Getting older and losing touch He knew for sure he gave him enough Then one day he came back to visit him Told him all the stories and places hes been He told him my how the days go by He remembers we laughed until we cried A quiet room everyone gathers around A tragic loss, but love still found His son speaks about his fathers life As remembers we laughed until we cried Kate |
