I don't know what brought these words up to my mind.I didn't mean to write any of that, but I found them written as I went on studying for my approaching FINALS!!I guess I have to fucus more on my studies than poetry hehe!I know that is isn't the greatest of quality, but I thought it would be fine to add it in this forum! I will try to modify it after exams are over.  


A Prayer Answered!!


A request fulfilled...
A wish granted...
This is a story...
of a prayer answered...

My life runs short...
with every passing day...
Wipe the tears off...
Push sadness away...

We cannot help it...
We're all going to die...
When my time comes...
Please, don't cry...

Now I'll die instead of you...
My head lies on your arm...
Sing for me as I close my eyes...
Embrace me with your charm...

My sight slowly blurs...
and my body turns cold...
as my soul drifts away...
Memories start to unfold...

The one I kept safe…
until the very end...
The most precious memory...
of my mother... and friend!

With my final breath...
My face draws a smile...
and to my beloved mother...
I whisper a soft Goodbye~

A request fulfilled...

of the prayer that was answered...


The prayer I am talking about here is that which was made to save a life instead.This was originally written because of someone I know.A friend whose mother went sick and she prayed to be sick in her mothers stead, and that was what really happened... Her mother was cured and a month later they found out that she had Cancer. A while after, she died...I don't know why I cannot stop thinking of her, and her story...
