The screaming silence haunts me,
My mouth sewed shut,
My dying mother cries,
Yet, I hear nothing.

Her endless cries for sweet embrace,
Of that dark man on his white horse,
To carry her, down, away, away,
From the son that she lost.

The screaming of my mind,
My mouth sewed shut,
I cannot say a word,
And still, hear nothing.

"Our Father who art in Heaven... Hallowed be thy name..."
