Red II (The Sorrow in my Eyes) No one can see the sorrow in my eyes The sadness that engulfs my soul and steals my dreams My heart bleeds red for all the pain that I have caused And I can’t cry for all the grief that I have lived. Again my soul is dark and it hurts to let pain go In red I see my shattered heart and godless soul Its red the light that shines on my as my pen bleeds But light or dark this pain now brings me to my knees. I hurt inside and I can’t cry to find relief My only friends, this pen and paper and those who read The tragic story that’s being told in these pages A futile war against himself that this young heart wages. No thoughts of death will cloud my way even in pain I’m not afraid to live my life and live today Still I hurt but there will be another sunrise And still, no one can see the sorrow in my eyes In the blood soaked battle field, lay the bones of countless millions who in the midst of battle stopped to rest, and resting they died. |

Hi again comoloco7 Your inner eye reflects vision pictures through your words, the pain which still lives will find a hidding place within your mind where it will rest with time, you will then rest and enjoy the new tomorrow and a future full of blues and greens, colours of life and not of death. I am glad you are getting your demons to paper, when you share you halve you load and we are happy to share. Thank you for your penning, till again be well and take care. Rick |

Rick, you're always a supporter. Thank your for encouraging creativity and flow of emotions, in a positive light, I makes me want to share more. In the blood soaked battle field, bleach the bones of countless millions who in the midst of victory stopped to rest, and resting they died. |
