its always in the back of your mind those dark feelins you ought to leave behind dont close your eyes as the ache begins to spread dont close your eyes to the path ahead warning signs of pain when shadows begin to reign gold withers to dust jewls dull to stone tears turn you to rust in this world you now own falling, drowning, deeper in the night searching, longing, crying for the light dont close your eyes grasp at the light dont close your eyes crave for the sight |
