I can hear a sound from another place
A soft melody being played on a piano
And a woman that wants and says
She ways she cares and loves
She, she, she, irritates me

Simplicity make me
Light shine down on me
I'm naked in the light
My soul is entirely exposed
And the melody plays on

I see you
In the mirror I see me
Even when I hated that broken glass
The gapping hole in my head
Twinkling twinkling velvet black

Its not about me
The real me inside me
Perched in a bird nest of twigs
Safely...
Swarming beautiful sounds

Fight me
Hit me
Beat me
Cut me
It always ends with the hopeful mist of music

I know Jesus loves me and you
That blood from Him we drew
Wretchified purity we adore
She never came back!
And by grace the bloody music remains

just to be happy...

woaah haven't read anything from you for abotu a year i'd say!!

i really loved most of it, absolutely amazing. i LOVED the first few paragraphs, pulled me right in.

as long as we laugh out loud, laugh like we're mad. because this crazy, mixed up beauty is all that we have.
