FEEL FREE TO SKIP THIS RAMBLING Well first of all the title is experimental, it's the only one I could think of. This poem takes place in The World That Never Was (see previous poem). Well, here goes... "One last drink and the bottle breaks, returning us to the dust from whence we came" [This message has been edited by Twilight Warrior (04-18-2007 11:03 AM).] |

One day I stopped by Twilight Town Just to see if you were around Rain falls from above, everythings wetter How foolish of me, I should've known better I yearn for the ones gone with the wind I fear i'll never see them again I prayed for our destinies to entertwine But now they're separate, yours and mine Why do forlorn dreams never leave our sight? In this world between Dark and Light The nobodies here, I can feel their pain A silent reunion in the falling rain I hear the bell of Twilight's Tower Signaling Destiny's final hour Twas all that kept my spirit at rest Now i'll return to nothingness "One last drink and the bottle breaks, returning us to the dust from whence we came" [This message has been edited by Twilight Warrior (04-18-2007 11:16 AM).] |
