the studly pied piper
is piping a new ditty
that appeals to the vanity
of the sheeple mentality

whose own little lambs
he led out of hamlin
to the sodom and gomorrah
known as myspace.

his tower of babel -
a temple for profits
now disguised as the alms bowl
for acts of charity

will soon fill with gold
and the widow’s last copper
when he prints up your posies
on pages of vellum

and sells them all back
for a piece of your soul
and an arm and leg
of your sheeple mutton.

I loved this one. Truly, an 'aristocratic' rant!
