hunnie

i hate it whaen you look down on me,
because there's more to me than you can see,
you treat me like i don't belong,
you've always done this, all along,

how can you be so blind,
maybe hates messing with your mind,
i nedd help yet you refuse to see it,
you ignore me, in your world, no sister of yours is in that big of a pit,

well i'm not a child i don't need your friendship,
i've tried once before, lost, and i don't double dip,
i'm not stupid, retarded or slow,
you'd think that after 15 years you'd know,

i wish i could look up to you,
but that is something i could never do,
because you are not always right,
i know that now thanks to hindsight.

Man can I relate to this poem you had written. I'm 17 and my sister is 20. I thought I would always look up to her when I was younger, but that had changed when I got into highschool. I didn't look up to anyone at all. Not Even the man above. I was in a dark stage all the time. But I don't ever regret anything that goes towards her. But I know where you are coming from. I really thought this poem, might go to everyone that'son here. Thanks for sharing with us.

i can definitely relate to this. my sister is 3 years older than i am and at first i thought i could look to her as well, but now i see that she's just an example of what i wont be. she sounds like your sister from what i can tell from your poem.
