So far I have come, from the simple life which I dreamed once, That now all I see are ends to shores without means to reach them, Life often throws me in a jungle of dreams, Dreams which are now my only reliefs, As I wake up to what is around me once more, A realization of life that I never chose before, And as I breathe in the air that surrounds me, It carries no sweet scent, of innocence as it once did, No destination suffices this wretched soul, For he seeks pleasure, that is never more, When I close my eyes, I can sense nothing at all, Lost in a world, that never wanted me more. I speak insanity. I write fantasy. I sleep reality. |

I really like this poem. It's very sad=( though. But you did an awsome job on this. I hope to see more from you in the future. Thanks for sharing with us. |

a melange of remorse and angst all rolled up into a most provocative piece, well done! writergrl "You cannot stain a black coat." |
