Sandy lots,
steamy rooftops,
turkey dinners searing through the towns clear cut portrait.

Mowed lawns,
paved roads,
creamy skies inbetween the right times.

Slow walks,
long talks,
eyes transcending to the moons dark gown.

Secrets run,
firefly to firefly,
as wicked winds chatter with one another.

The greatest town,
younger with each building,
selling itself free to the midnight sea.

Loved the ideas in these lines:

"Secrets run,
firefly to firefly
as wicked winds chatter with one another"

Sometimes I sit in the park late at night and listen to the trees whispering to each other, or so it seems. Rather a mystical experience if you have an open mind and a imagination that runs to the fanciful.
