Bequest Of Lyre Requite, seems the aura of found While devotion hums May I know the answers, If the questions frame my face, And the ringlets of my hair curve your fingers? This tender time of change, comes in gulps Requite is the fading of hope, its echo soft It is my heart that struggles To let go for your sake Even as the gentle sounds, in threads of sunset Slip across my upturned palms I am compelled to grasp them Swing out into the unknown Wanting to find the warmth of your body there To greet me in the wise smile of a breaking day And I fight myself Striking at my own armor A sword of tears leaving rusty hull To fill into the music and sink of the waves I love you too much to ever cause you harm Yet, to lose you is more death than I can bear So I implore God, and I dig into the deeper recesses For the strength to change my mind, to change my heart Another song, a new expression and direction What I cannot see, heals slowly in its lilt Hoping you will know, I reside in the deeper seas Of always you Copyright Kkh 8/27/06 |

There is is always alot of difficulty surviving the pain of losing someone that is still out there. I think most people can relate with this and the whole issue of missing someone but wanting to stick to a decision about what is best. Great effort here! |
