I didn't write this to offend any religious people here. I just needed to express some of my thoughts. No one's lost I know a place where no one is lost But they don’t know their own way out, Where the pain out weighs cost And reality is at a drought, Where their bodies bit with frost Afraid of fire with no clout, And from these fake flames burning in a billions peoples minds eyes, A beautiful, truthful phoenix starts to rise from these old lies, Revealing Blue prints Of carefully layed out diagrams Of revolutionary plans drawing lines in the sands Of who’s right and who’s wrong And in the midst of all this finger pointing, Death Comes along To the weak and the strong, But mortality’s in the eye of the beholder, Me, I’d like to trust in such a theory, Though I have my doubts that when I die I’ll have the strength to move the boulder, Watch the world as it spins a day older Put some gravity on my shoulder, Envy, greed, and gluttony, sloth, pride, wrath, And of course my favorite deadly sin is lust Seven acts of evil with a punishment that’s just, right? Blind It must, right? I’m hitting on 21, I bust, right? I’m guilty of a few to say the least, And you are too, right? So ashes to ashes, dust to dust, We’re falling down, right? With iron clad conviction You would never think to straying From the righteous path, right? And Risk eternal life, “right” Misinformed of a forewarned conclusion, Synapses scorned with an adorned contusion, I stand on Mt. Olympus Northeast to Greece And slice a piece of myth for the next apprentice, Blinding Bolts of lightening from the minds of thee enlightened Onto god fearing people who have never been frightened Too occupied in stopping there own senses to be heightened Round up all the ships, all hands on the decks, The All Mighty’s vexed with a Napoleon complex Perplex subjects intersects into the brain, Got you thinking what’s next? But your views are all in vain Arcane beliefs, forty thieves into the darkness, Embark this voyage, Writing tomes of thee unknowns Trying to separate the fact from fiction From their last edition Of archaic hear say I Scream I Speak I Plead To you people but you just can’t hear me I’m a man on a mission Not a fan of superstition Shooting stars and I ain’t wishin' Like you, like you, I rely on wits and vision In my studious decision To detach from convention, I blew right through. I’ve planted and I've watered seeds of doubt In my own brain, From both sides of the spectrum, But when I decided to inspect’em, Only one turned into a tree, With branches I could cling to And a trunk that’s well rounded, Knowing that I’ll never fall cuz I’m already grounded. I’m free, I ain't lost I'm free... Joe Houck "A witty saying prooves nothing" (Voltare) |

I liked your flow. It has a ring to it. If this is about God then it sounds like you're in Egypt. Particularly when the light was shown on Israel and Egypt was in total darkness living in the same place. But it does have a nice flow to it. God bless, In Christ, -Craig Satan decelveth and cause women to watch Operah... |
