Amidst black roses

After all is said and done
To this crossroad at last we have come
Against us from the start was fate
This choice was always yours to make
What was a huge leap of faith
Has left me empty, naught but a wraith
You chose the path that led away
For my folly i was made to pay
Silently forced to watch you go
What might have been, we'll never know
This life now bereft of joy
Compassion,love all you did destroy
Still for you i pray
That you take the right way
Your path in life is yours to choose
But because of that, my soul i did loose

A sign in the wind
The fatal last breath
Soft prelude to death
Alone
Amidst black roses
