Show me the way But blind me not with your light Shroud me in darkness Until the invisible becomes clear I turn to your guidance As my only hope Forgive me not for what I have done But embrace these sins I keep Hold them dear and keep them close They are all I can offer For nothing more comes from me But the fearless wonder of decadence Within a breath you’ve given me a lifetime I consider you a calm But I the storm Have not yet died So breathe into me These things I seek And leave nothing of the mourning and the laments They are loud and unbearable Speaking in tongues to a deaf ear Full of pride and fear I once rejected you But now I ask of your acceptance Though I am tainted Take me under your wing For I feel the worst is yet to come And the days are getting shorter |

i love the way you express such dark emotions in a poetic way. i can't ever seem to get my full point across when i write, but you are very good at it. i really enjoy your work, please keep it up. i love the part where you talk of embracing sins. everyone thinks sins are such a negative thing... Hey man, how come you talk about sins when you write like atheist? Atheists don't need to worry about morality or old style things like sins. They don't exist, man, so don't worry bout them. The death of Christ took them off your shoulders. It's Christianz who hafta worry about sins. |
