So calm and gray We've wasted our time, day after day And we'll end our time together In a hail of bullets, forever I've watched you sleep And your secrets I'd keep So drab and dull Our voices now are a toneless lull Quietly we lay side by side Taking each of our breaths in stride I can't feel your warm skin All I know is that the cold seeps slowly in Death touches my pale face Chalk outlines with grace you trace And I hear you sigh And I see tears fall from your eyes We're nothing but figures of blood Made from bricks and mud Constructed just to be destroyed It's our obligation for we are employeed You understand my plight As we close our minds and sleep at night I'm weary and torn And you're weathered and worn My sickness is growing deep within me I slice through my life and break free But in threes they die Never one or more shy My lifelessness touches you And then our time is through As we lay next to each other With the dirt as our cover And the rock as our headboard And the wood as our place stored All I feel is cold Within every ripple and fold Of my black dress And I must confess I've never seen a corpse so lovely Than you, as you lay divinely Cold Breathless And lovely Beside me "areyouinorareyouout? eitherwayyoucan'twin." he said.  again i am stunned by the poem. it is absolutely brilliant! I enjoy your writing so much. its funny how close some of our poems are to one another and how they share emotions,feelings and ideas. It is alarmingly good! Keep up the amazing work!!!i loved these lines "And we'll end our time together In a hail of bullets, forever" How many times i have wished for an end like this hells gate reads Abandon hope all ye that enter here |

your work...i dont know how to say it, but it is full of so much. the words and phrases you use paint a stunning portrait of two in the embrace of death. i can feel them and their thoughts...oh yeah, you gotta keep writin. ~~Poetry is written emotion~~ |
