Dean and Davis cigarette His candle lit, the sky for rent Well, there’s a New York boy in Maryland, And I know he’s sweeping up stardust. The King of Brief and Beautiful, Walking barefoot off the ledge, He told me he saw the light And it told him he was welcome. We shed some tears, you and I The butterfly, the looking-glass eyes, He’ll always be their glory, And us, we’ll always be. My New York boy traveled green plains To become a man with tickets to heaven, This is a big city kid, he’ll say When I surprise him on some January day. Yeah, he said he’d hold the ladder While I reached for perfect stars, I love it so when his eyes are on me And he’ll follow me to the moon. We shed some tears, you and I The butterfly, the looking-glass eyes, He’ll always be their glory, And us, we’ll always be. Come on God, do I seem bulletproof? |

aaah its like a sweet sweet country song that tells a trillion stories in one! I LURRRVE IT as long as we laugh out loud, laugh like we're mad. because this crazy, mixed up beauty is all that we have. |
