What do you do when the world fades away Leaving you battered and bruised with your life gone astray? Wishes and dreams you once called your own Are a distant reminder of a life that you'd known You're scattered and lost so you try to depend On finding your way out of a maze with no end When you try to turn back to the place where you started You find that your life as you've known has departed Where do you go now with your world so upturned? You can't cross the bridges you've already burned So, just like the world you begin to fade You live in this hell; your punishment paid |

I think I've started over about a million times. I just seem to have a knack for finding dead ends and roads that lead to nowhere. ^*^Angel^*^ |

Hey Angel! I dug up "Welcome to hell" to read again, and now that I have the list of your poems I can't stop reading. definitely worth a second look. There's many talented poets on this forum, but your poems seem to echo something from somewhere in a deep part of my heart that might actually still be alive. |

"when you try to turn back to the place where you started you find that your life as you've known has departed where do you go now with your world so upturned? you can't cross the bridges you've already burned" Loved that part! So relatable! |
