My Demise part 2 My Deity I look away It pains me to let you see me like this Not now In the moment of my weakness Yet you don’t mind A hand extends and helps me to my feet My legs are weak, I wobble You wrap strong arms around my frame And help ease away the pain I can no longer contain it And open to you And for the first time ever I tell my story in its entirety You take it all in Not once questioning my tale Why would you? You’ve heard part of my story before This just answers your questions I fall silent, my tale finished You hold me tighter, bringing warmth back to my limns I relax in your embrace, the tension once there, gone No longer is this burden upon me The feel of your arms around me gives me strength I pull back to look into your eyes and you look into mine And I know now that you are not only my friend You are my deity ************************** it picks up right where My Demise leaves off, by the way...i suggest u try readin them back to back... |
