I used to sit on the beach And watch all the seagulls It made me smile But when they flew away from me I’d stare at my reflection In the peppered grey ocean A perfect enough day I wish I could fly away too I used to think I could Without wings Without the sky A perfect enough day In my mind. (I know I haven't written anything for a while, and I know this is a poor attempt of starting again. But any writing is still writing, right?) Come on God, do I seem bulletproof? |

Yeah, just like the theme of the poem. Just be content. Nice write. -GIS Romans 8:28 "And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purposes |

I like the idea of 'a perfect enough day'. That's how so many days seem - not perfect, but perfect enough. Within the sound of silence... |

no writing is a poor attempt. Especially when it involves flying. We all have wings, we do, I have to be reminded of this constantly, but what you write of, I feel every day. It is only up to us when and how we shall use those wings. I love this. |
