I understand the girl in the blue dress now... |

On a residental block in the middle of july the elderly sit behind stands and serve lemonade. the former children come along and pull money from their briefcases. happiness resolved. they don't have time to create a new generation. and all the teddy bears and plastic cars appeared because the condom broke or the birth control failed. and there's crying at midnight. from both parties. because we wanted this life to be our own. full of music and smoke. full of riddles and puzzles. and now we must teach simplicity. and we've nearly forgotten how. time is infinity and my hand is a stone figure. love is undefinable. my hand in your hair can not get me anywhere. does she outweigh me surpassingly? I wear a blue dress like alice. and in the panthers eyes I am reborn. my thoughts are my breath and its fogging the windows. time is irrelevant. and so are your hands. because they're not mine. I think you should submit this somewhere Lexy. It's been awhile since I have read you, and oh it is my loss. This IS excellent and oh I am green with envy too. Publish. |

My goodness! The emotions pour from this piece, which is absolutely excellent by the way. I am so glad someone sent me this poem as it also has been my loss missing your work. Know I am in the archives reading you later This was incredible. |

so much emotion bottled by so few words, i find myself unable to describe to you what it means to me, i don't think i want to, i would rather just hold myself and drift off to sleep. |

i had to read it a couple times to fully form an opinion about it, but very deep. i think i may be a bit too young to fully understand, but i think i got the idea of it's meaning. However i enjoyed it nonetheless thanks " How can i feel if i can't breathe...?" |
