The butterfly came out of her cocoon only to find she was viewing the moon She asked herself, "Where is the sunshine?" What has she walked herself into this time? Hiding in the corner by the old oak tree She sat and thought about what it could be She felt it was either die or be doomed Finally she chose the latter of the two Night turned to light at the crack of dawn She peered over her shoulder at what seemed like the sun Over the mountain the sun began to shine The little butterfly knew she'd be fine Dancing and prancing and jumping with glee At last she felt lively and free Happiness being the only emotion she felt Was a wonderful ending considering the beginning she'd been dealt. And thus this could have been called "The Meaning of Life". Very well written verses of hope. There's always something more about poems (and poets) that use the butterfly. Great job! Wings bruised from turning away in such confined space...Not broken...still healable...still feathered with life, somewhere |

Really cool. Just like life. -GIS John 12:25 He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal. |
