As I sat there I realized all you were in life... False Making me believe Draining me of everything We stared eye to eye Waiting there for temptation to get us I didn't call you all the things that you called me I didn't sit around forever Though forever is a long time I turned my face away Your friends saw right through you Yet you played the game Making them believe it was all me I loathed you then I loathe you even more now But.. That is my guilt to bare And when you walked away... I sat there Love, Ladycat "Everything changes, everything stays the same."-Bill Austin |

"That is my guilt to bare" Not sure if you meant to use "bear" as in to carry, or "bare" as into shed, but the great thing is i love the "bare"!!! Deep emotional unscarring you are poetically enscribing! "So give life to your dreams, for there lies your survival, and cast your heart beyond those faded scenes, and I'll bring you through the storm" |

I agree. I liked it, Ladycat. And such a great title. And that is interesting about the dualistic bear versus bare. Wings bruised from turning away in such confined space...Not broken...still healable...still feathered with life, somewhere |

Wow, nice poem Ladycat, enjoyed! Hollow. Courtney. I find it kind of funny, I find it kind of sad. The dreams in which I'm dying are the best I've ever had. - Gary Jules, Mad World. |

"And when you walked away... I sat there" these are my favourite lines, they are so true and hurtful, well written i enjoyed this. Love NightFall "My only love sprung from my only hate to early seen unkown and known to late" Romeo and juliet- William shakespere. |
