A voice chanting in my head, "Peer pressure, peer pressure." Warning me away, despite of it I stay. Take a drag, fight a cough. Burning throat, "Shake it off." Intense thirst, spinning room, gnawing hunger, inhaling fumes. Scream in anguish, but they laugh. "She's just trippin'." nothing on my behalf. Eh, that's a few experiences thrown in one. It is kind of fun to read aloud, isn't it? Especially if you do the "Peer pressure" part in the voice of a deranged chipmunk, as one of my friends does so often. |

Yeah, i knew exactly what you meant...the burning never stops...when i did it, it burned like hell, but it didnt compare to the guilt i had burning inside of me....great write...
