And all the rivers cry... The life of me cannot begin to set sight Nor justifications be acceptible. The measure, now in the moment, Of the blessing to know you Filters so far out Old friends reunite and new ones made And I, lost in a world of confusion and disparity, Am there in harmony with the rivers' tearful deluge. Reflections of our closeness and friendship That always served excitement and anticipation Of our next get-together Are at the forefront constantly now, and Although, momentarily, expanding the need for grief, Assuredly enlightening my soul with knowledge of Just how beautiful you were. I sit now, missing my friend, scared of the Realization that the depressions, when they attack, Will no longer be able to be easily dissolved by My unexpected phone call. So, I'll look towards the sky, and into the space Of night. I'll look for the wisdom, genius, Laughter, compassion and love that has carried Not only me, but infinite others through, in the Hearts of all you've touched For there your spirit radiates. And from this moment on, the reflections of you and Of us shall again cause me to excite and anticipate Our next get-together. Until then, the stars are brighter here, I know, For God has a champion with Him now. Wings bruised from turning away in such confined space...Not broken...still healable...still feathered with life, somewhere |

God I felt this one, Purity. "Reflections of our closeness and friendship That always served excitement and anticipation Of our next get-together Are at the forefront constantly now, and Although, momentarily, expanding the need for grief, Assuredly enlightening my soul with knowledge of Just how beautiful you were." I loved that part. especially the first three lines...they held a significance for me. Thank you and....I feel I should also wish you Good Luck. Don't ask me why. Hollow. Courtney. I find it kind of funny, I find it kind of sad. The dreams in which I'm dying are the best I've ever had. - Gary Jules, Mad World. |

"The measure now in the moment of the blessing to know you." But, I could just quote the whole thing. Whomever this was written for is smiling upon you, Purity. If words are ever written to this effect about me, then my life was worth living. Such a perfect eulogy. And, my heart goes out to you as well. I agree with Hollow...there's a reason You're in my mind tonight. "So give life to your dreams, for there lies your survival, and cast your heart beyond those faded scenes, and I'll bring you through the storm |

"so, i'll look towards the sky, and into the space of night. i'll look for the wisdom, genius, laughter, compassion and love that has carried not only me, but infinite others through, in the hearts of all you've touched for there your spirit radiates." you make me want to be a better person, one who communicates my feelings before they become memorials. i've never sat through so many memories of those i've lost to death as when reading this. and my heart, as well as my eyes cry in realising what i have lost in my loves now gone on. with sincerest thanks and love! Mike i'll always need a friend, one i can defend. |
