So real, sliding her fingers In the blood running down my back Running from your knife This was a real life This was a method of escape The girl, in the stained skirt Wearing bullet holes in her neck Hiding with a smile I was a young child This was illusion, to deceive Would you smile for the camera? The dead will be in tune tonight Stay calm, the lights will fade in time Slit throat, in a centre fold Bearing such a black carnal fruit Slide into a smile This was a means to survive The girl, in the stained skirt Wearing bullet holes in her neck Has such impossible scars Lipstick marks On the barrel of her gun Would you smile for the camera? The dead will be in tune tonight Stay calm, the lights will fade in time I’ve cut you on piano wire This video tape, is unfortunate In that it wont hide your blemishes It can’t hide this trash, become a life I’ve got you on The cutting room floor When these devils scream You don’t listen anymore Would you smile for the camera? The dead will be in tune tonight Stay calm, the lights will fade in time And if they don’t Rest knowing You’re as cold And you can go… |

And if they don’t Rest knowing You’re as cold And you can go… Awesome end. This seemed to be sort of experimental. I loved it though. It made me imagine zombies and darkness, and cameras. and capturing the essense of ugliness. This is good, but I think it could be even better. |

WOW! this is really neat, I also think it could be an awesome song with a cool guitar riff, if it isn't already. Nice job with the imagery and detail, I likes! ~*brezee*~ |
