Just Another Day In The Life! Not quite lovers Yet more than friends Undecided moments Brought us the end A forbidden kiss A bold caress Left hearts and minds In casual undress There was a little more Than a passing glance Not quite ships in the night But it was our chance In your eyes I saw Your love and fear And in that instant I knew I couldn’t let you near ‘Twas all to brief Those thoughts entertained Just more voided moments Eternally dipped in pain "A spring shower was cause to run |
