I'm left with the painful perception Belief of worth was misconception My throat is raw from silent scream Soul's ripped by shards of broken dream Maggots of mourning gnaw my eyes I sink to hell and cannot rise Oh, for return of that illusion Joy could be mine - It was delusion Now wisdom's price is endless weep Only escape's eternal sleep. |

Very powerful... I love when you write and post, girl! Belief of worth was misconception Great line, but not applicable in your case, you know You are so worthy of wonderful things, and deserve them. Hugs... Caroline the only man worth your tears will never make you cry [This message has been edited by icequeen (12-04-2003 09:08 PM).] |

Agreeing with Caroline, Ruth...You are a special lady, with words to say that speak much truth and feeling...caught in the web of humanity where we all feel, but cannot say as well. Hugs! |

Young lady, don't you let me hear you talking about yourself that way....I know you well, and I know your worth -- Yes I do. So should you. You bring good to everything you touch, and bad to almost nothing. That's a rare gift, and you have it in abundance. So, no more of this, huh? ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸ ¸¸ºº> ~~~(¸¸ER¸¸ºº> |

Hi Suthern, Such a dark piece, Suthern, the opposite of enlightened. Hope this piece is fictional, if not, hoping for light to come your way again. Corinne |

Very powerful words. I like the picture. You are absolutely stunning! It's nice to put a face to the words. You've become quite a poet! |

"My throat is raw from silent scream Soul's ripped by shards of broken dream" ~ The above passage is so vividly descriptive that my throat now hurts and my soul threatens to shatter! Gosh, suthern, this is a very painful place for you to be ~ if this is in fact where you really are! The emotions come across as too authentic to be fictitious! Loving, healing hugs, EA |

Extremely well written and a poem I am sure so many on the "net" could put their name to. In fact, is it not the fantasy available here on the internet for those very illusions that causes the very delusions you speak of, and of course the subsequent reality that strikes for some is truly unbearable. Oh this was sad, but oh so good Ruth. |
