+*+*+*+*+ I'm hanging up my halo, I'm going to be an elf! I'm taking off my gossamer wings, And stuffing them on the shelf! This flitting about, doing good deeds, Is truly getting me down! It really is a thankless job, And it's beginning to make me frown! I always think of others, And never of myself. SFH ~ I haven't a clue where this one came from! lol I woke up from a drug-induced nap (meds for near-fatal bug bite from something venemous) with the first four lines begging to be written! So it seems I am no longer an "angel"! Oh, well! I have Irish blood, so I suppose an elf is appropriate!   EA |

Noah ~ Being an elf wasn't all that it is cracked up to be! ~ So I've plopped my halo on again and strapped those wings on my back and I'm heading out into the world to help all the little boys and girls! hmmm..don't get me wrong earthy angel, but.. I believe that an elf works hard doing for others as well. And...as if you really could stop being you?? No, I think I will always picture you with soft pastel wings and a halo that glows. Besides those elf shoes..dear me, they're a fashion disaster.
