CLOTHES OF AGES PAST How delicate and soft the clothes of ages past in graceful flow and comfort from shoulders of belief attractive to and pulling in the eyes of passers by to gaze and be amazed at the wisdom of the old. Likened to a Barbie doll made before this time days and nights of play have brought a different mould still beautiful to see but unexpressive of the soul and the fabric of a mind lies coarse and unrefined. Another time, another place, in stores of lost and found unto man will be displayed mind’s intricate design unused from way back when we chose to live again covered head to toe in static skin and bone. And there I’ll find a garment of deep intensity fashioned and created from remembrances of love to draw unto myself the pleasure of your smile and your permanent approval of my distinctiveness. The clothes of ages past like who we really are will arise again from history as if created new but today I stroke the folds of soul’s gentleness and feel inside the timelessness of mind’s energy. And I gaze and am amazed at the wisdom of the old who dressed a human being in clothes of ages past, placed her in a time zone unbefitting to her soul, and allowed in her the feel of a mind’s silent need. From then and when I chose to remember history I walk a crooked line with the coarse and unrefined! Helen |

Yes, Martie, you're so right. I forgot, you see, because I'm still a human being ... who sometimes thinks money in the bank is the way to just being "me". |

Way to go, passing shadows! They say that deed follows thought so I guess we're on our way to being rich!! |

Wealth is not measured by what one hoards away but by what one gives away freely. A great write as always!!! Thanks for making me think when all I wanted to do was sleep. |

Hi, icebox. Isn't it strange how we never seem to get what we want in life. I haven't figured out the reason for that yet although perhaps it's because we merely live on the fringes of belief - "ask and it will be given unto you" - fair enough but never does it say "when"! Thank you for reading! |
