Why,  when winds blow...the seeds of life's
sands swirl the furrowed brow?  Waking one's
mind to moments harsh as chilling winter blows
the northern gale upon life's plain.

Why,  when waters fall in torrents,  the rivulets
stalk the muddy trail to life's river,  where
deep currents run against the incoming tide of
thought?   Why...when above,  the clouded skies
bring gleaming stars and moments treasured
in the bask of a golden sun?

If but the breeze could course the flowing winds
into one's hand,  to be held gently as the
bridled rein restrains the urge to simply dash
into the shadowed cove.  If but a gasp could
swallow the delicate feel of urgent tremors and
calm one's day....into a golden shrouded dawn.

Wish for me the plain filled with life's harvest,
that I might sift the seed and allow the chaff of
torment to flow with the wind....that calms and
consoles life's breeze...until again tomorrow
a moon sets upon the rise of day.

If but...oh, my friend, I wish this for you and for me.  Barry, this is outstanding work.  Your images will remain in my mind in wishful thoughts.

Magnus~
The whole gosh-darned thing is stunningly beautiful ..~

This ... this -

'If but the breeze could course the flowing winds
into one's hand,  to be held gently as the
bridled rein restrains the urge to simply dash
into the shadowed cove.  If but a gasp could
swallow the delicate feel of urgent tremors and
calm one's day....into a golden shrouded dawn.'

... this speaks the beauty of your soul~

SOoooooooooooooo enjoyed~
