Greater Things For Me

in your silence
I have heard
the answers
to my questions

you misjudge me
for destiny has picked
greater things for me
than I would have
picked for myself
it is true
I am in hesitation
but not by
lack of worthiness
just waiting my turn
my turn was written
for me upon the stars
before I was born
where things are
not mere dreams
but wings waiting
for reality to happen

I must go now
for destiny
does not hold
your place in line
it goes on

~i like this, i like seeing people being able to 'move on'~

and as far as destiny is concerned, i read somewhere that "the future is based on choice not chance".......I think you have a delicate balance of both.

yeah i liked it.

it has the twinge of darkness laced with hope that every poem of this nature should posess.
