Mere Simplicity

Your words, tenderize my battered inner shell,
metaphorically dancing with unending stories to tell.
Your meter, in sync with my enveloping desire,
spoken in your delightful tone, starts my soul on fire.
Written soulfully to enhance the kingdom of your being,
defining a measure of your sightseeing.

Embraceable harmonies upon this sheet keep pace,
flowing with rhythm, causing my heart to race.
Whispering in my ear, you touch the depth of me,
reaching my mind, setting my emotions free.
Your punctual nature, a means for employment,
presented as a gift for my utter enjoyment.
Verses and stanzas of mere simplicity
rhyming our talents toward wonderful publicity.
