Oh Nimue of the turbid lake, of whispers drought of one's forsake. Of lovers lustful wizardry his mistress born at Brittany Of water forms my name is shaped And sky adorns by nimbus caped Astound the heavens oh thunders sword There into earthbound pleasures poured Her foster son, round table fame born of the lake, a lance his name. Vowed to protect a monarch true. Sir Lancelot did earn his due. As mortals bed this vespered speech Closed minded serpent out of reach Alas I am of liquid stock Without the need for cultured mock A trick of heart, her treachery imprisoned there to ever be. A tower's glass his mortal shell This wizard's heart she could not quell. And truly magic never seen But given stead the surface glean While I arise and settle down Upon the shores eternal bound Excalibur, bequeathed to him from 'neath the waters murky, dim. To be there cast as Merlin cries of Camlann's grounds, Arthur's demise And shall I say of Camelot What time may play has now forgot Yet in the lakes of tears kept still The cup of reverent always will As Avalon awaits the king A silver blade shall softly sing [This message has been edited by Magnus (11-28-2003 02:54 PM).] |

"And shall I say of Camelot What time may play has now forgot Yet in the lakes of tears kept still The cup of reverent always will As Avalon awaits the king A silver blade shall softly sing" FANTASTIC!!! And, from a lover of Camelot... 'Let it never be forgot.. that once there was a spot. For one brief shining moment.. That was known as Camelot!' ~Hugs to you both!~ ~ To love and be loved |

I agree with Seymour...except, I would add an extra "E"...exceptionally excellent! Just wonderful, TD and Mag...but I wouldn't expect anything less than excellence from the both of you. Patricia |

Thanx for the reviews...Kathy is superb at this....I feel like a little puppy dog following... But she always insists I lead. I mentioned "Lady of the Lake" and we both said YAHUH!!!.... a little bit of a history lesson for us both...much enjoyed... Thanx TD..you truly are a gem of a gal. |
