Closing my eyes in sleep
I feel your presence around me
Between the realm of dreams and reality

There is a touch, ever so lightly
A caress,
softly, tenderly, lovingly

As into sleep I am falling
I can feel your breath
gently in my ear
my name you are calling

Very softly you say
    ~I love you~
With words so tender you speak
And with the touch of your hand
you very, very gently seek

With such passion and love
in your voice I hear
With longing and desire
you nibble on my ear

As I drift slowly into sleep
your handsome face I see
With deep brown eyes
gazing lovingly at me

And I hear you whisper.....
  ~Sleep, my Love...
      for I am right here
      Just feel and you will see
      together we are, for I am always near~

I then sleep soundly and peacefully
as your presence I feel
With your arms holding me tightly
I lay beside you, very still
When I finally let myself awake
counting the hours I start
For the day is almost here
when you will be with me
and I will feel
  the beat of your heart........
