Moonphase, Zero Life should float If the moon is hidden and the seas are calm no inner surge nor pull Life should float But in the darkness of the skies no glint to be seen in a lover’s eyes no shadows drawn to walk the path no far-flung thoughts of an aftermath Life should float Without the moon, are we unbound? No call of wolf or bay of hound, no shine of beam by which to rest the spell of time and love’s behest. Moonphase – zero… no light is seen, or by which to see a promise, resolved, or a love to be. |

when there is no moon... we wait for stars and our eyes to adjust... or the clouds to part |

....no moon is time for cleansing of ones spirit.. it's easier to shed our sorrows when the dark is hiding us.. put as Cpat said, we wait for clouds to part ....and the moon will pull us in again.. this was a lovely read |

This was so gently spoken Karilea.. I'm keeping this to read on a very dark night...or day.... Hugs dear lady. In the midst of winter.. |

Sunshine You are special poet As I am in disgraced for multiple postings I will go further by answering your lines group by group Moonphase, Zero Life should float If the moon is hidden and the seas are calm no inner surge nor pull Life should float In the quiet of the dark Would you Could you Wish for more than the feeling of being alive But in the darkness of the skies no glint to be seen in a lover’s eyes no shadows drawn to walk the path no far-flung thoughts of an aftermath Life should float Rudyard Kipling Tiger, tiger burning bright in the forests of the night what immortal hand or eye would dare to frame their symetry Without the moon, are we unbound? No call of wolf or bay of hound, no shine of beam by which to rest the spell of time and love’s behest. No clutching fumbling love of dark Eyes surrended Never known Hands alas the only sound Of magic That has no ground To nourish Moonphase – zero… no light is seen, or by which to see a promise, resolved, or a love to be. And so a little light flows A little truck Moves With Something Music to emotions and ears Dave |

When the moonphase is zero, it is very dark, but as long as we have "Sunshine" to give us light, we will always be able to read wonderful poetry, such as this that glows here.... enjoyed ________ice ><> |

Karilea, I loved the way this one was composed, and how it tugged at my thoughts until the end. |
