He sits upon high
On a throne of celestial fragrance
Doing what he will
With what he has
Which is all that is.
Takes the time to see
He has prayers made unto him
Whether he listens
Is down to you
And your sins.
Still he sits up
In the high throne of Heaven
Surely he must begin to tire
Of rule over all, for the time that he has?
Surely,
Creation must have made weary his powers,
Is that why he made angelic life?
To do his bidding
To listen to and solve his every qualm
And to aid in his behemoth task?
Which selected thoughts
Are the ones that race
Through all time
And everywhere possible
And adhere to his wisened mind?
Which few are they?
Or does he experience them all?
Does he have that capacity?
The Almighty.
So as he sits each day and night
Watching over his vast lands
As the celestial bodies fly on by
Does he envision them bettered?
Does he plan the future of the world?
Is life his ultimate goal,
Or is death the one he has not yet reached?
Are we equal?
Is he still blighted with disease?
Does he suffer the troubles of men?
At first he shone
Like a beacon,
But now the candle
Has spluttered out,
Can it be relit
Or does it need replacing?
While all this occurs
The Betrayer
Himself sits in the bowels of hell
Nick,
Lucifer,
Satan,
Beelzebub.
The root of all evil
The Devil
666
Looks up from
The pit of flames
Views life with distorted vision
As no others do
