Hey peoples! It's been forever since I've posted here... I guess you could say that I lost my inspiration to write (well, happy stuff anyways lol). This poem is my return to happiness... I have found the woman of my dreams... my one true love... as I plan my future with her, I hope to share the many beautiful ways she makes me feel with all of you here. I dedicate this poem to Vickie Parker, my happiness found.

Happiness Found

My heart once kept
is no longer bound
In giving it to you
is my happiness found

For once I was blind
to what love could be
But you opened my eyes
and made me see

You've given me words
to express my soul
Your love is the half
that now makes me whole

Your touch is the caress
that brings me pleasure
Every second with you
another moment to treasure

Ours is a union
that nothing will sever
For you are my
happiness found forever

Welcome back, neighbor!  I'm kind of new here, but a South Carolinian, none-the-less.

This is a gorgeous write, so very touching to know of the male poets in here who can express themselves so well with words.

Congratulations on finding the happy again!  I look forward to reading more from you.
