In a moment, my heart fills with pain In a minute I cry In a heartbeat I wish to lie here and to drown in my sorrows but I stand and I wander away from it for minute I notice in you I find all my comfort confidence and will to believe it is with you I can move forward when backwards is all there really is… In a moment, In a minute, In a heartbeat, Do I wait in this lightless function Can I just spend them all with you? Or do I drown in, Another year of dysfunctional living Love, |

Powerful emotions...I've thought about what I want to say for awhile...I know sadness too... There is always hope. And hope can carry a person an awful long way, and lift them when they fall. It can even spark a new dream. |

i can feel the emotion here, and I too had to think awhile on my reply....whoever it is you find "shelter" in should not be your only hope....faith in yourself will be you truest provider. All moments are fleeting, including the bad ones......... but until you find what you are looking for, keep writing lovely pieces such as this! |

This is really interesting that you brought up who I was finding all my shelter in. In this poem I am the sorrowful one, as well as the shelter. I can only rely on myself, no one else loves me the way I do. You know. I'm the only one who knows where I've been and what I have gone through. I have been here for myself in the good and bad... all of it. SO I guess thats where this came from. Love, |
