Aging Body The aging of the body begins it gravity pull into a downward slide at the tender age of twenty-five. Reminding you, that aging is like a mudslide in slow motion, and only a quick tuck here and quick tuck there can slow this mudslide of gravity from sliding downhill. The glow in your face and the sparkle within your eyes can be recaptured with less stress and a good diet. Less stress the doctor does say. When the cat chases the dog out the front door, when the German Shepherd down on the corner walks by, and your eight-year-old says as you are about to go to sleep. “Mom! I need scissors and paste and tissues and two number two pencils and a batch of cookies for school in the morning.” Stress! Who has stress? What about that better diet? You are baking those cookies at two in the morning- You say “What the Heck.” You sit down with a cold glass of milk and eat the whole batch, then you have to make another batch for school. It is now five in the morning, time to getting ready for work, get your husband up, get the lunches packed for the kids, then drive them to school, and then get to work on time so your boss won’t dock your paycheck for being late for the fifth time this week. So much for stress and a proper diet. Make-up helps in a pinch, but when it is one hundred and twenty outside, remember that mudslide? The gray in your hair can change in the blink of an eye or about thirty minutes. You can be red, varying shades of brown, or a cool headed blond, or a bright shade of green, or a brilliant color of orange or after all those years of dyeing you’re hair your getting to look more like a bowling ball. If your teeth are a fallin’ out, false teeth are the rage. They can be pearly white or your teeth can look like that little ole mudslide. Now folk if you don’t want to tell your age that’s okay. Say your thirty-nine and holding and if someone begs to differ. Just give them a smile with your pearly whites and say, “Your time will come my dear child and your body will go into a........ Very Dirty MudSlide.” Love Bon-Bon |

hehehhehhe, cute write, filled with all kinds of visuals... I remember those days with my son and all his friends at the house...they were one of the best times in my life....memorable...all the hustle and bustle and making lunches, cakes and cookies, and boy did they all eat the pasta. I look back now and think it not stress at all, but more so, advantages. Love ya and thanks so much for the trip down memory lane...what a lovely time those times were |
