We’ve always sipped On cocoa, A good way To muster beer off your breath. It’s my excuse for sweaty hands, And reasons not to look at you. Sometimes still it fails When you cry… And I would die To tell you It’s okay. But it’s not. And I’m sorry You can never make it right. He was a man of sorrows |

Ladycat, wow, I'm honored. I had one poem turned into a song before, a hymn really. Wasn't too great though lol... afraid it won't happen much more though, I am musically illiterate! Thank you much for your generous reply michelle, my grandfather died from beer, my family was split apart from beer, And just last wednesday my sister's boyfriend was hit by a drunk driver... he'll be in the hospital a few days still. The driver could have killed my sister, just barely missed her... so yea, I'm not much a fan of beer. Thanks for your reply .. Always, Alyssa He was a man of sorrows |
