The first time I saw you, I thought I'd wandered into a dream; An angel sent from Heaven Is what you seemed to be. I've spent days and nights In my bedroom, Trying to write The perfect poem to give to you But this is all I could come up with, So it will have to do; I wish being perfect came to me As easily as it does to you. My mind wanders to the day When we will be together. Being with you, I always feel the same way: No cares at all and light as a feather. Now we're walking down the beach, Just enjoying our time together. I forget about my speech And end up talking about the weather. Now we sit down on the sand And gaze up toward the stars. You reach over to hold my hand, I smile and wrap you in my arms. It means so much to me just to have you near; To see your radiant smile, or hear your angelic voice... I think to myself, "I hope this night will never end, With this angel that Heaven's sent." I tell you how much I care for you, Your kiss tells me what is left unspoken. Now I know this is a dream... And I hope that it will never end. |

Such a heartfelt write. Receptive ears will hear between the shallow sighs of this self search. Dreams are the illustrations of the book your soul is writing you. Wishing you every gentle dream. ThisDiamond |
