Take Care on Ides of Jan Snow in satin finish the Finish surely know, when heaven’s sweet light shines it’s an iridescent glow. Its sugar coated glaze like a donut with a hole; I raise my cup o’ cocoa with a hearty winter “skoal!” Winter has its grandeur, when it’s viewed through the glass, but should I choose to run and play, I would fall and quickly pass. For broken-neck-ed-ness is quite a danger to one’s health, and it would sorely place a dent upon my wealth. So winter come and go, with your beauty and your grit, and I will sit in my repose, until you’ve faded quite a bit. Then spring and I will sing of sweet colors in the grass, be it dandelions or primroses as they dress this world en masse. ©January 15, 2004 Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |

oh this was so nice, would love to feel the winter in this way!! but even in winter here, the hibiscus tree is still blooming and it's still warm enough to have to open the windows to cool off! i will just have to live vicariously |
